Oh, and you know what else. This place is handing out $5 cash if you publish 5 articlies before the end of the month, and $10 if you do 10. - I know, it’s not anything to get rich off of, but what else were you going to do this month? LOL, ok, you don’t do it for THAT money, you’d do it for the exposure. But I’ll take the money.

12 Reasons to Try Ubuntu 10.10 on Sunday | ITworld
October 8, 2010, 10:49 PM — PC World —
As Ubuntu 10.10, or "Maverick Meerkat," hits the streets this Sunday, it's a pretty safe bet that legions of existing Ubuntu users will be updating to the new release. After all, it looks to be Canonical's most user-friendly Ubuntu Linux yet, and many of the new features promise to be must-haves.
[ See also: ITworld review: Ubuntu 10.10 scores close to a ten ]
For those in the business world who haven't yet tried Ubuntu, however, the reasons to download and give it a whirl are even more compelling. Here are just a few of them.
1. Speed
Ubuntu 10.10 is fast -- darn fast. Even the beta version could boot in as little as 7 seconds, according to reports. Who has time to wait around for Windows when there's work to be done?
2. Price
There's no contest on this one, because Ubuntu is free. Pure and simple. No investment whatsoever, unless you want to buy professional support later on.
3. No Commitment
You can try out Ubuntu without changing or affecting anything else on your computer through options like a LiveCD, Live USB, Wubi or virtualization--all of which I've already described elsewhere. In other words, you have nothing to lose.
4. Hardware Compatibility
Ubuntu will play well on just about any machine you might have sitting around, so you could also try it out on a spare one to keep it off your Windows machines altogether--until you decide you can't go back, that is.
5. Ubuntu One
Ubuntu One is the personal cloud service that lets you synchronize your files and notes and then access them from anywhere. You can also consolidate your computer and mobile phone contacts and share documents and pictures with them. On the fun side, you can use Ubuntu One to buy music and get it delivered to the computers of your choice.
6. Windows Compatibility
With Ubuntu 10.10, a beta client for Windows also allows users to integrate their Windows and Ubuntu worlds by accessing files from either platform. You'll never have to worry about being unable to get at your Windows files.
7. Applications

#VFTC @TachoBlog - Just a few views for the day...
On the way to Lancaster, NY on Hwy 5 east of Ripley, NY - I'm thinking that maybe I'll snap one on the way for @TachoBlog... A crisp autumn morning, not too cold yet, just right. I could use about 4 months of this.
THE View from the cab while making my delivery... As you can see, I am not the train, but I've taken his place... Whoo hoo For Trucks!
The view OF the cab... - - - And now for a bit of silliness. IF TachoBlog allows. There's a town nearby, Cheektowaga, NY... but I like to call it ChickenToga. So when I see the signs for it the voices in my head start to say... "I don't wanna to go ta' Chicken Togato Chris Baloga
I don't wanna got ta Chicken Toga
Or do the Yoga..."
or Eat Bologna in Saratoga... Me and my voices will chat at you later!

Import Your TV Shows Into Google Calendar | girlrobot
Here is a cool website for all of you who use Google Calendar. _CAT is a website that allows you to click which shows you watch and add them to a calendar. You can then download the ical file and upload it to your Google Calendar. All of your shows that you watch will display at the correct time with the relevant info. Great way to keep track of what shows you are watching now that they are starting back up again! They don’t have all of the shows yet but they have all of the major ones. I think new shows are being added. My current lineup?
How I Met Your Mother
The Office (starts Sept 27th)
Heroes (starts Sept 24th)
Lost
24
and my favorite guilty pleasure and best tv show ever…..THE HILLS!! haha I admit it!If you are not currently using Google Calendar, I highly recommend it. I’ve been using it for the past year and can’t live without it now. I have a horrible memory and this helps me remember birthdays and events that I am going to.
PS. Remember to change the time setting on CAT to your time zone.
PSS. If you don’t know how to upload ical files to your Google Calendar, click here for a tutorial

Where did Google’s Wonderwheel go?
September 10, 2010 in Search Engine Optimization by Jerry
Yesterday I was trying to find some relevant keywords (LSI Keywords) to support the main keyword for one of my new sites so that I could rank high in the search engines only to discover that I was no longer able to see Google’s Wonderwheel.
Google’s Wonderwheel is an excellent tool because through Google’s Wonderwheel , Google is telling you which keywords are relevant to your main keyword so instead of spamming your main keyword and suffering ranking penalties by repeating your main keyword too many times, you do the smart thing and stuff your content with related searches given you by Google’s Wonderwheel instead.
So, how can you find Google’s Wonderwheel?
In an attempt to save time when you do a search in Google, it has just been introduced a new search enhancement named “Google Instant.” Google instant allows Google’s users to see the most relevant search results as the user types in the search term. This will allow the users to see the most relevant search results even if they have not finish typing the search term. This is a pretty cool new feature introduced by Google but for some reason if you have “Google Instant” on, you will not be able to see the “Google’s Wonderwheel” link when you click on the “More Search tools” link at the left column of Google’s result page.
How to turn Google’s Wondewheel back on
If you want to be able to see Google’s Wonderwheel, you will have to disable Google’s new feature “Google Instant.” To do this, click on “Search Settings” link located at the top right hand corner of Google’s homepage:
Then, disable “Google Instant” by checking the radio button that says “Do not use Google Instant”
Finally, Click on the “Save Preferences” button and you should be ready to go.
To check if Google’s Wonderwheel is enabled already, do another search in Google and press enter.
Go head and click on the “More Search Tools” link located in the left column of Google’s organic results.
You should be able to see “Wonder Wheel” link.

It doesn’t have any vampires, werewolves, ghosts or unicorns, but it does have “a demented Scottish brownie.”

I can never keep my voice on track whenever I’ve tried to do a voice… I used to mix up the voices for Green Eggs and Ham when I read it to my children.
Thanks for providing all the great Audio guys!
